Introduction to Statistics
There is a lot of data in our world and trying to make sense of it all can be confusing. We use statistics as a tool to better understand the information we've collected. However, if statistics is new to you, it can be difficult to conceptually understand what all the numbers and formulas are telling us. What role does statistics play in understanding our data? How can we use it to better understand a specific research question?
We often "correlate" statistics with probability and data, but we're left hanging on the specifics.
This project aims to use various technologies and tests to understand the relationship between median household income and how students do on the PISA math section from different countries. Is a higher median household income associated with a higher math score on the PISA exam?
